Spectrum Elektrotechnik
GLOBAL DISTRIBUTOR OF SPECTRUM RF AND MICROWAVE CONNECTORS
Founded in 1981, Spectrum Elektrotechnik is a leading manufacturer of components used in RF and microwave technology, including connectors, adapters, cable assemblies, phase shifters, couplers, gain amplitude equalizers, terminations, and calibration kits.
Spectrum’s products are used in many commercial systems including cellular applications, radios, satcom/VSAT, satelites and space applications, test centers and wireless communication. Spectrum’s products are also used in various defense applications like airborne radars, electronic intelligence, electronic warfare, jamming systems and missile guidance. Wherever RF, microwave expertise and manufacturing technologies are needed, Spectrum Elektrotechnik will be a reliable partner.

Adapters
Spectrum Elektrotechnik has a wide range of Adapters available that offers excellent VSWR and low insertion loss over their respective full operating frequency bands. Their portfolio of adapters include In series, Between series, Push-on, Phase Adjustable, Hermetically Sealed, Metric-to-Unified Thread, Waveguide-to-Coax and Adapter Sets.

Waveguide-to-Coax Adapters
The Waveguide-to-Coax Adapters have impedance matching a 50 Ohm coaxial transmission line. It comes in a rectangular or double-ridge waveguides form. The adapters feature top-launched or end-launched probes, and can be optimised for performance over specific frequency bands. A comprehensive range of precision stainless steel connectors are fitted as standard options.

Isolators and Circulators
Isolators and Circulators are usually three port devices used to force the microwave energy into one direction. The typical junction Circulator consists of a stripline circuit placed between two ferrite discs or triangles, an upper and a lower ground plane, magnetically biased by permanent magnets located outside the ground planes.

Phase Adjusters
The Phase Adjusters allow the adjustment of the electrical separation between components. Precise mechanical movement provides for smooth and accurate adjustment over the entire frequency range. A secure locking mechanism is furnished with every unit. There is a wide selection of components offering different mechanical configuration, frequency range, electrical length and/or connector configuration.

RF Quick Connections
Quick Connections eliminate the time consuming tightening, torquing and loosening of connectors. Quick Connections are needed during testing or in applications, where limited space requirements make tightening and torquing of a coupling nut difficult or impossible. Connectors include 7/16, BMA, N, TNC and SMA, SMP, BMA, SBX, SBY, SBZ, SQ-8, SSPO and TNC.
